pulled up here on a regular friday night of nowhere else to go or do or be or say what you like America has great bars and this is one of them, a print of Kerouac on the wall and that Brooklyn lager that tastes like Barnsley bitter and no one knew we were coming, just a random gig in the night, but for us our first ever American gig, there were off duty professors from Yale up the road and Bikers and regular music fans and then a troupe of lap dancers on their way to work, played with a wild New Orleans band callled the Bipolaroids who dug up Syd Barrets grave in a beautiful somnambulist drugged up manner, we worked hard and won everyone over... it felt good to be in America all of a sudden...
